There’s something magical about taking the old Chassidish classics and infusing them with new flavor through fresh arrangements and the power of a full symphonic orchestra. For the 2025 MDA Chassidut B’Class concert in Caesarea, we created “The March Medley,” featuring two timeless niggunim: Gur’s “Shir Hamaalos” and Modzitz’s “Ein Kitzvah.” Hearing these melodies wrapped in rich orchestral color, still rooted in their original spirit yet elevated with new depth and energy, felt truly otherworldly.
